While thinking about the variety of upcoming art exhibits I’m participating in, I thought I’d better share these events with you as well! I sure do love it when my friends and collectors come out to support my art and say hello in person.
It was fun to realize how different from each other each of these exhibits are. They reflect so many interesting connections I’ve made in the local art community. And this variety offers a little something for most local art-lovers to enjoy, too, depending on what kind of artistic and social gatherings you personally prefer.

The one I’ve been busy helping prepare for this week is the annual art show at Katie Armistead’s house at 404 Sherrill St., Greensboro NC 27403.
Although I’ve attended this event on many different occasions, this is the first time I will be personally participating. Katie opens her home every year so that art-lovers can meander comfortably and discover fine art pieces and gift items in the homiest setting. This year, you will have a chance to see art and gift cards and such by Katie herself, Vicki Johnson, and myself.
The following Sunday, November 15, I will be joined by other Sternberger Artist Center artists for an open house for its 100th Anniversary Celebration, from 2-4. This promises to be a really special time for the community, who will be able to enjoy the historic nature of the house we get to work in. We’re always so pleased to host community members in our studios, where “the magic is made”.
The other space where you will be able to see and purchase my art is in my Passageway Artist Gallery Wall space at The Marshall Muse Gallery. Of course I also have art in the main gallery there this month, which you can see if you join us for First Friday this week, where the gallery happens to be celebrating its one year anniversary! Those who are familiar with the space know that I have been exhibiting my work there since Tracey Marshall opened this incredible space.
What an honor it was to learn that the beloved painting seen below, Lake Clouds, was sold to a collector there, a few weeks ago. Thank you, as always, to those who love my artwork enough to invest in it for their homes and gift-giving.
You can also find some of my paintings at Bitters Social House. This is yet another newer businesses in Greensboro, where you can meet a friend for a drink and good conversation, while being surrounded by fine art. This gorgeous photo by Vicki Johnson features just some of the paintings seen there. Can you pick out which ones I painted?
It has been such a delight to meet other artists in our community as well as show with friends I’ve known over the years.
Each of these spaces has its own personality, and showing at all of them pleases me so much.
If you love a big, buzzing gallery with endless variety, my paintings are hanging in one, and the doors are open 7 days a week. If you’d rather feel cozy, come find me at an open house in a private home, where three of us will be showing our work. If you want art with your afternoon, two of my paintings greet you at the door of a sunlit social space where you can settle in with a drink. And if you’re drawn to history and a peek into working studios, come find me at the open house.
Maybe one of them will feel like your vibe. Maybe you’ll be thrilled to visit me at all of them. Either way, I hope you’ll come say hello at one or more of these, in the coming weeks.
