I am A Sky and Water Painter
I recently saw a social media post in which an artist declared themselves to be “a sky and water painter”. My first reaction was, “Oh my. I wish I could describe myself that way, because I love to paint both sky and water.” One day soon afterward, I thought of the phrase again while scrolling through photos of my work. So many of them featured sky and water.
Here are some such paintings that I’ve sold:
All of the paintings in the collage above have been sold. Each features expansive skies or water… or both!
My sky and water-themed paintings currently at The Marshall Muse Gallery, Greensboro.
Revisiting this selection of paintings became the spark as I put together this new exhibit for my Passageway Gallery wall at The Marshall Muse Gallery. Based on such evidence that I am, in fact, a sky and water painter, it became clear that I should feature this subject in my recent display.
The grouping of paintings seen in the small photo at right also feature scenes of dramatic, bold skies, and water… often both in a single piece. They’re available for purchase by other “sky & water people” like me. I hope you’ll visit soon and stop by my Passageway Gallery Wall space to see for yourself!
