Vicki Johnson's Vibrant World of Art & Nature - Renewing My Creative Friends Series
Do you know I once started a blog series which I called my “Creative Friends Series”? After several posts, featuring some of the amazing creatives in my life, life got in the way and I let the series fizzle out. I recently realized I was ready to revive it, and this post is the first of what I hope will be even more in the coming months. Enjoy reading about - and viewing the work of - Vicki Johnson!

Introduction
Have you ever met someone whose creativity seems to flow effortlessly, touching every aspect of their life? Vicki is one such artist. Her passion for art, gardening, and nature is contagious, and her work is a testament to her boundless imagination.
A Lifelong Passion for Art
Vicki's artistic journey began at a young age, long before she was introduced to formal art education. Drawing was a natural expression for her, a way to connect with the world around her. As she grew older, her artistic horizons expanded to include various mediums such as oil painting, pottery, woodworking, and metalworking.
A Neighborly Artist
When I first met Vicki in 2008, I was immediately struck by her talent for flower arranging. The stunning arrangements she and her sister created for our gallery were a testament to their artistic eye and attention to detail.
Over the years, I've come to know Vicki as a dedicated gardener, raising flowers, vegetables, shrubs, and trees. She even has her own flock of chickens! It's a joy to be her neighbor and receive the occasional gift of fresh eggs.
A Prolific and Multi-Faceted Artist
Vicki's artistic practice is as diverse as her interests. She's a master of water media, effortlessly creating beautiful watercolor, acrylic, and India ink pieces. But it's her abstract paintings that truly capture the essence of her creativity. Her works are bold, colorful, and full of life.
Conclusion
Vicki's passion for art and nature is a constant source of inspiration. Her work is a reflection of her vibrant personality and her deep connection to the world around her. Whether she's painting, gardening, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature, Vicki's creativity shines through in everything she does.
