A Magic Light

$850.00

This painting came together differently than usual. While I did begin with a photograph of a boat I saw in St Croix many years ago, that vessel was only a jumping-off point. The actual boat was sailing in the early morning as dawn was breaking. My imagination, however, got involved and insisted that I paint a foggy scene. It seemed that in doing so, I could create a great deal of mystery. Letting the boat be partly obscured by the fog of my imagination worked, and I was thrilled with the results.

  • Size: ( h & w) 24 x 24 in

  • Medium: Oil On Canvas
