This is a painting from a photograph I took as I drove from Albuquerque to Santa Fe a few years ago. I was fascinated with the grey sky and the light of the horizon. The painting actually glows at night when I look at it in my studio. The greens of the pine tree as well as the shadows on the hills across the mountain in the distance was of great interest to me. I’m pleased wth the way it came together.
The painting is in a frame and ready to hang.
