Beach grass always reminds me of hot summer-time. This painting was created from my combining two of my own original photos from Topsail Island. I loved how desolate the beach looked in this scene. I equally loved how warm the sand was next to the cool sand that the waves were washing over. I even love that little bit of broken down sand fencing you often see there.
