This painting features a close-up detail view from an apple tree heavy with blooms. This sight was a joy to see as I toured Ghost Ranch in New Mexico. After I returned home, I saw the bee working for nectar in my photograph. This discovery was a bonus treat for an image that already pleased me. “What an interesting painting!” I thought. I love all the colors in each bloom along with the cute bee, made even more rich because of the deep blue backdrop of the sky.
