I painted “Blue Iris” from a photo taken in my garden in the spring. The yellow iris accents the blue along with a few purple ones. I love the light green color in the middle ground behind them, and the pink rhododendrons blooms in the background. For me it’s just a happy painting of a wonderful memory.
