This painting is my homage to a moment of pure awe discovered high in the mountains. I had to capture the scale of the landscape and the exhilarating feeling of seeing for miles upon miles across the valley below. Recreating the massive, luminous sky in oils took several days, but the effort was driven by my love for translating the true, unforgettable light of that day onto the canvas.
