It feels cold when you’re sailing in the winter. Especially on a grey day. I hope I was able to convey that sense of cold in this little oil painting. I do love the colors of the boats and sails, especially amongst all those greys. And doesn’t that little patch of yellow sky hint at the possibility that it’s clearing? Maybe even bringing with it, just the tiniest bit of warmth.
