Although I don’t paint abstracts very often, sometimes I get in “one of those moods”. This was painted while working on a series of small paintings. That series led me to create several small abstracts. This painting features mainly shades of blue. But I’ve also accented it with its compliment orange, and also splashes of green and white to make it pop. The extra texture comes from the palette knife I used in lieu of a paint brush.
