Moments after giving birth "Mommy" starts caring for her newborns. My granddaughter had helped this white mother goat with the task at hand. She snapped this photo of the family of three just after the birth. Of course I had to paint this scene and was so pleased with how it turned out. It felt special to be able to capture the mother's tenderness on my canvas, particularly with the tiniest of her newborns.
