This is my idea of what the prairie looks like. Yes, there can be small hills, or even mountains, as you look across the flat part of this region of our world. The title of the painting came from a photographer friend who always says “It’s simply the prairie” as it’s a common view. I love the way it turned out with the soft pastel colors of blue and golden sandy tones, and that big sky.
